Roger Fries

Reverend Roger Fries
Pastor Emeritus

Prior to serving as Pastor Emeritus, Roger has previously served as instructor, registrar, development manager, and campus pastor for seven years for HTI. He retired from HTI in 2024.

Roger received his bachelor’s degree in theology from Grace University, Nebraska, and a master’s degree in counseling from Luther Rice Seminary, Florida.

He has more than 30 years of pastoral ministry experience with the Evangelical Free Church, eventually serving as district superintendent. He spent five years as a missionary to Ethiopia from 1972 to 1977.
